Baby Boomers are Reaching Retirement…But Will Their Retirement Income Support Them?
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there are over 78 million “Baby Boomers” – an age group that refers to those who were born between the years of 1946 and 1964. Currently, Baby Boomers are the largest generation in today’s workforce and as they start to retire over the next decade, they will face the daunting challenge of maintaining their pre-retirement lifestyle.

Today, those who are retiring not only want to continue to live the lifestyle they have created for themselves, they want to pursue those dreams for which they have planned - including travel. Funding their lifestyle, combined with the costs of health care, long-term care, and housing can just seem out of reach.
So where does this leave many Baby Boomers? Having to continue to work as they age and sometimes even in the face of their declining health. As a nation we are far from prepared in terms of adequately funding our own retirement and even protecting our health care needs as we get older.
It’s a scary picture but not a picture that cannot be changed. You can take action today! It’s not too late.
